What Should You Bring to Dog Boarding?
When boarding your dog at The Acre, we strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment. If you are not purchasing meals from us, lease bring each meal pre portioned in a baggie or container. If you are bringing perishable food please call ahead so we can make arrangements. We do not accept large quantities of food unless your dog is boarding for an extended period of time.
We provide beds and bowls for all dogs. To minimize potential hazards, we do not accept soft bedding unless your dog is elderly, nor do we accept toys. However, you are welcome to bring any treats you would like your pup to have in the morning or evening.

Welcome to our premier dog boarding facility, designed to be your dog’s second home where they’ll love to come and play! Our dedicated play yards are tailored for small, elderly, playful, and calm dogs, ensuring every pup enjoys a space that suits their needs. Each dog has a personalized profile detailing their play style and tracking the friends they meet, allowing our staff to carefully coordinate safe, supervised play groups. With fresh air, fun activities, and new pals, your dog will feel right at home!
Boarding Schedule
7:00-8:00am Morning Bathroom Break
8:00 – 9:00am: Breakfast
9:00am – 12pm: supervised playgroups
12:00pm – 2:00pm: Rest time for dogs and staff break
2:00pm – 4pm: Supervised Playgroups
5:00pm – 6:00pm: Dinner
6:00pm -7:00pm Evening Bathroom Breaks

Tailored to accommodate various temperaments and requirements, these designated areas cater to small, elderly, playful, and solitary dogs. That’s why we offer a diverse array of daytime and evening enrichment activities to keep their minds engaged during their stay. From stimulating dog puzzles to tempting peanut butter Kongs and bone marrow bones, we provide a range of enticing toys and treats available for purchase to enrich their experience. Additionally, our outdoor activities include water play, offering a refreshing and enjoyable experience for water-loving canines.
Low-Stress Environment
At our facility, creating a stress-free environment is our top priority. We empathize with the feelings of unsettlement dogs may experience when away from home, which is why we’re committed to ensuring their comfort throughout their stay. Our compassionate staff members provide personalized attention, affection, and care to each dog, alleviating any anxiety or homesickness they may feel. With a soothing and safe ambiance, our facility is designed to help dogs relax and feel completely at ease during their time with us.
Comfortable Overnight Accommodations
We offer a variety of spacious suite sizes from single dog suites to larger multi-dog areas to accommodate ample space options for your dogs to rest and sleep comfortably. Additionally, we accommodate multiple dogs if they prefer to sleep together, ensuring they have the companionship and warmth they desire. Our goal is to make their overnight experience peaceful and restful.
